Paula Deen is one of my all-time favorite TV chef personalities, and I love her recipes. There is not one Paula Deen recipe that I have ever made that didn’t turn out fantastic. I recently found this hot chicken salad casserole video recipe tutorial, by Paula Deen, on YouTube, and I knew I had discovered another winner. The greatest thing about this recipe is that you can use a store-bought rotisserie chicken or a homemade boiled chicken. The chicken can also be made in advance in a crockpot, or this recipe can be the tail-end of a chicken dinner, where you literally use your chicken remnants, not letting any of your bits go to waste.

Ingredients For Hot Chicken Salad Casserole:

  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 cups of diced or shredded chicken (you can use a boiled chicken or a store-bought rotisserie chicken)
  • 1 cup of celery (chopped)
  • 1 cup of slivered almonds
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of crushed potato chips (for topping)
