The Cooking Foodies mac and cheese tutorial takes only 3 ingredients to make while using one pot. Mac and cheese are so simple to make and there are many complicated recipes. Mac and cheese is a staple when it comes to southern comfort food, and my family always conclude it in our Thanksgiving meal. I cognize a lot of families don’t conclude mac and cheese, but I believe it’s more of a southern thing. There’s always a lot of cooking in the kitchen, so I’m going to try to use this recipe to make things easier this year. Plus, this is a great side dish for fried chicken or steak. I love creamy and cheesy mac and cheese, and anyone can make this in 20 minutes. This is such an effortless recipe that can be tweaked.
- 4 cups (1 liter) Milk
- 12oz (340g) Pasta (elbow macaroni)
- 7oz (200g) Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
First, grate your cheddar cheese block or buy it shredded.
Next, in a large pot, bring milk to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the macaroni to the pot to cook. Stir frequently until the pasta is cooked for about 12 minutes. Continue to watch The Cooking Foodies tutorial on YouTube on how to terminate making this simple mac and cheese.
Note: for extra creamy mac and cheese, add 1 more cup of milk to the pot while cooking the pasta. Plus, you can use a different combination blend of mac and cheese, but cheddar cheese is a classic.
